Our purpose is to enrich the lives of our community members living with a disability, by providing them and their families with person-centered care and helpful support services.
We are a NDIS provider based in Sunshine, Victoria servicing our local and neighbouring area. We work hard to put each of our clients and their needs, in the center of everything we do, so they can get help, and be more independent, to live their best lives.
Our proprietor Lavinia is a qualified, registered nurse of almost 15 years and has worked in the NDIS industry over the last 20 years.
Helping Hands & Lavin’ Care is based on her idea that we need to bring more care providers into our suburbs to care for the increasing diversity of clients in our community.
It is also an opportunity for her to complement mainstream service offerings with a manner of care that reflects her personal Pacific upbringing, growing up in Tonga and looking after her parents and vulnerable members of her family.
It is a heritage of love, generosity and old fashioned kindness where every single member of the family looks out for others, the door was always open to offer and receive help, and everyone was family.
When combined with her nursing studies and the years of experience as a healthcare professional in Australia, she founded HHLC.
